Any proposals to extend a UK airport are bound to be big news! Our task for London Luton Airport Limited was to raise awareness of their proposal to increase airport capacity and support the consultation. We were asked to create a brand and design, and promote and manage the consultation roadshow held across the airport's region.
We needed to draw out the key messages and ensure local people understood what the proposals meant for them. Pioneering a mix of touchscreens and traditional exhibition boards, we created a roadshow of events across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The touchscreens meant that we could capture data so easily and take stakeholders on a logical journey through the planning proposals. We also created a website, which was launched at the beginning of the consultation series, meaning that even if people couldn't get to an event they could still voice an opinion.
