IJM, one of Malaysia's leading construction groups, was planning to build a major expressway into Kuala Lumpur. The proposed expressway ran right past the National Mosque of Malaysia and so IJM were duty bound to demonstrate the visual impact their plans might have. We built a 3D model of the proposed expressway and the surrounding environment, taking detailed photography which enabled us to build the model with greater precision and high levels of accuracy. Having seen the realtime of the expressway it became clear to everyone how the National Mosque would be affected and agreed the proposals would need to change. Our work has been instrumental in prevented the project from progressing too far before these problems were encountered.
