When Spenhill looked to build a Tesco store in Sittingbourne as part of their wider interests in the Kent town, we worked closely with them on multiple consultations with local stakeholders. Our involvement in the latest application, for a Tesco Metro store, not only included the traditional consultation exhibitions and website, but also the drafting and submission of a detailed Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) submitted to Swale Borough Council. Our detailed knowledge of the consultation and the planning process over the last ten years, enabled us to submit a comprehensive SCI that supported the proposals. The developer is currently awaiting the outcome of this application.
